AA STEAM & Entrepreneurship Academy is not just a school—it is a reimagining of what education must become.

Originally envisioned as a premier STEAM and entrepreneurship school beginning with my own children, the vision evolved as I recognized my greater calling: not simply to build one school, but to design a model capable of transforming schools across Georgia and beyond. Introduced in my book STEAMpreneurship, AA STEAM & Entrepreneurship Academy represents a future-ready framework—a school that others will study, adapt, and replicate.

At its core, this model rejects an education system that conditions students to memorize answers to predetermined questions. Instead, it is built on the belief that students should be trained to identify problems, generate hypotheses, test ideas, analyze data, and design better solutions than those that exist today. Learning mirrors the real work of engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators—where curiosity leads, failure informs, and creativity builds.

In this vision, exposure is not limited to existing careers. Students are immersed in entire industry pipelines—learning not only how jobs work, but how industries are created. They don’t just prepare to work for companies; they learn how to build companies, launch ideas, and forge entirely new career pathways.

AA STEAM & Entrepreneurship Academy represents the shift from Georgia being a state where businesses relocate to, to a state where businesses are created from within—by students who were never confined to test prep, but empowered to think, build, and lead.

This vision is larger than one campus. It is the reason I am running for State Superintendent of Schools. Because when education stops crippling creativity and starts cultivating creators, schools don’t just prepare students for the future—they produce the future.
